Competitors	Each District is invited to nominate two swimmers in each event. Distance Events Nominations	A number of events will not be swum at the regional trial. Competition rules	Technical Officials from Swimming Qld will enforce the rules and procedures.
First Aid	Sports medicine personnel will be available for the duration of the trial.
Risk management	A Curriculum Activity Risk Assessment (CARA) has been completed for this activity.
Absent Competitors	Students wishing to apply for exemption from the Regional Trial, but would like to be considered for selection in the Met East team are required to complete the Met East Absent competitor Application form. This form can be found at the Met East website and must be fully completed and forwarded to the Met East Convenor via the district team manager prior to the commencement of the trial.
Results	Results will be shared with Swimming Qld and published on this website if the student has given the appropriate approval (Project Consent - permission to share FULL NAME).
State Championship	The QRSS 10-12yrs Swimming State Championship will be held 26-28 March 2024. The QRSS 13-19yrs Swimming State Championship will be held 23 - 25 March 2024.
