Multi-class events
The Metropolitan East Regional School Sport program offers students with disability aged 10–12yrs and 13–19yrs the opportunity to compete for specific places in the following sports:
- Aquathlon
- Cross country
- Swimming
- Track and field
Multi-class athletes are always welcome to compete against able-bodied students for places in any regional team. Teams containing students with a disability are accompanied by managers with the appropriate skills.
To compete in a multi-class event, a student must have a classification based on the athlete's disability. Information about gaining the classification can be found on the multi-class events page or the Queensland School Sport website.
