Football (soccer) regional selection trial and state championship information.

Trial date	Wednesday 2 June 2027
Trial time	9am
Venue	Redlands United Football Club Waterloo St, Cleveland
Officials Meeting	Officials meeting at 8:00am in clubhouse.
Catering	A canteen will be operating at the trial.
Equipment	Each team is to provide their own kit and match ball.
Shade	Some shade is available at the venue.
Competitors	Each District can have a team of 13 players.
Trial	Round robin format. Possible vs Probable’s game at the end of the days play if required
Competition rules	Game play rules as per Football Qld Under 12 Playing Format and rules. 9 - a - side - including goal keeper - max of five substitutes. 25 min games, no half time on modified under 12 playing field and goal size.
Referees/Umpires	Student officials from Cleveland District SHS will be used for each game.
Selection procedures	As per MESSB Policy, one teacher from each district team may be nominated as a member of the Selection Panel. Selections will be final and no further play-offs will be held.
	Games to be adjudicated in accordance with FFA rules and regulations.
First aid	Sports medicine personnel will be available for the duration of the trial.
Risk management	A Curriculum Activity Risk Assessment (CARA) has been completed for this activity.
Alternate date	In the event that this trial is postponed due to inclement weather, the trial will be held on TBA. All other arrangements will remain the same.
State Championship	The QRSS 10-12yrs Football State Championship will be held in South Coast Region, 19 - 22 August 2027.

13–19 Years

Trial starts	8:30am - 2:30pm
Venue	Wynnum Wolves FC
Officials Meeting	8am
Catering	A canteen will be operating at the venue.
Equipment	It is a mandatory requirement that all players MUST wear shin pads.
Shade	Teams are encouraged to bring portable shade tents.	Teams are encouraged to bring portable shade tents.
Competitors	Each District is able to send a team of 16 players.
Trial	Hybrid format. Skills based sessions followed by game play.
Competition rules	TBA pending district nominations. Skills session to begin the day. Where possible, round robin format, each district (or composite team) to play each other at least once. Possible vs Probables game at the end of the day if required.
Referees/Umpires	For gameplay, students will be advised to self-officiate with oversight from the respective district coaches.
