All students must wear a neck guard when batting. Helmets must be worn when batting and keeping.

Trial
| This trial will be a Direct to Met East trial process. Therefore, students will need to get a nomination form from their Schools Sports Co-ordinator. The Regional convenor will then notify schools as to who can attend the Met East trial.
Program will be sent to District team officials.

Trials will consist of players participating in skills, net and game scenarios throughout the afternoon.

| Selection procedures | As per MESSB Policy, one teacher from each district team may be nominated as a member of the Selection Panel. Selections will be final and no further play-offs will be held.

State Championship | The QRSS 15-19yrs Boys Cricket State Championship will be held in Darling Downs Region, 1 - 4 March 2027.
