| Competitors | Individual nomination via student's school | Individual players are invited to submit a paper nomination through the school sports coordinator outlining their playing experience. Sport coordinators will be notified before the trial if the student was successful or unsuccessful.

| Trial | Program to be advised by the coach on the day. It will consist of drills, batting practice, throwing and fielding and a mock game. | Individual skill assessment.

| Forms | Individual nomination forms can be obtained from the student's school. The school will send the completed nomination form to the trial convenor. | To lodge a nomination for the trial:

| State Championship | The QRSS 12-14yrs State Championship will be held at Metropolitan West Region 27-30 August 2026.
| The QRSS 15-19yrs Baseball State Championship will be held in Peninsula Region 5-8 March 2026.
The QRSS 13-19yrs Girls Baseball State Championship will be held in South Coast region 7-10 May 2026. |
