Trial starts	8:30am
Venue	QSAC - Main Stadium
Officials meeting	Officials are required to register their attendance by 7:30am
Catering	A canteen will be operating throughout the trial.
Cost	NIL
Competition rules	Events shall be conducted according to the IAAF Handbook wherever possible; however, the Organising Committee reserves the right to modify events and/or procedures where necessary, to suit the requirements of these particular trials and will be governed by Qld School Sport Competition Procedures for Track and Field

Paper Nominations 2027 The following events will not be conducted at the MER Track & Field trial in 2027: 2000m/3000m Steeple, Pole Vault, Hammer, Walk and all Hurdles. All paper nominations need to be received by school sport co-ordinators.
First aid	Sports medicine personnel will be available for the duration of the trial.
Risk management	A Curriculum Activity Risk Assessment (CARA) has been completed for this activity.
Alternative date	In the event that this trial is postponed due to inclement weather, the trial will be held on TBA. All other arrangements will remain the same.
State Championship	The QRSS 10-12yrs Track and Field State Championship will be held in Brisbane 11-13 October 2027. The QRSS 13-19yrs Track and Field State Championship will be held in Brisbane 14-17 October 2027.
