Officials meetingSelectors to meet prior to each trial commencing.
CateringA cold drink fountain will be available.
There will be limited food and drink available for purchase.
EquipmentStudents must wear a World Aquatics approved cat suit and swim cap.

ShadeThere is adequate shade at the venue.
CompetitorsEach player must complete the player nomination and email it to their school. 
CostNIL
UmpiresAccredited umpires will be used for the trial.
TrialPlayers will be allocated random cap nummbers at check in. Match lengths will be played in accordance with local competition rules.Substitutions may occur at any time as per the World Aquatics Flying sub rules. Players are responsible for substitutions. Each team will play three rounds. 
A maximum of 52 players will trial at each session for boys and girls inclusive of 4 goalies.
Selection proceduresAn independent selection panel including the team coach will be in attendance. Selectors will grade players during the rounds and establish probable and possible match.

First aidSports medicine personnel will be available for the duration of the trial.
Risk management

A Curriculum Activity Risk Assessment (CARA) has been completed for this activity.

Students must provide and use their own mouth guard - this is a CARA requirement.

Forms

Nomination form from the schools must be received by the convenor by TBC.

Students attending the trial will need to bring standard district forms.

State ChampionshipThe QRSS 13-19yrs Water Polo State Championship will be held at St Andrews Aquatic Centre, Sunshine Coast, 8 - 11 May 2025.
