Equipment

Each team is to provide their own warm-up gear

All playing equipment will be supplied.

Students to supply thier own gear eg football boots

ShadeNo extra shade will be made available at the venue.  District teams are encouraged to provide their own tent.
CompetitorsEach district is invited to nominate one team with a maximum of 12 players.
CostNIL
RefereesWhere possible, student referees will be made available.  Team officials may be called upon to referee their game.
Trial

Round robin draw and a final.

Possibles vs Probables if required.

Selection procedures

As per MESSB policy, one teacher from each district team may be nominated for the Selection Panel.  Selections will be final and no further play-offs will be held.
Given that this is primarily a selection trial, District Coaches need to be aware of the policy on Regional team selection. 

Competition rules
Touch Football Aust Ed 8 Rules.
All games shall be 25 minutes only with 1 min half time.  Coaches should be aware of the current rules of Touch. (TFA edition 8) sub boxes will be in use. Substitution must be made from the sub box only. Teams are to be a maximum of 12 players. ·All disputes to be adjudicated on by the Regional Convenor. · Players who are sent from the field (not a period of time) shall show cause why they are not prevented from further participation, and disregarded in selections.

First aidSports medicine personnel will be available for the duration of the trial.
Risk management

A Curriculum Activity Risk Assessment (CARA) has been completed for this activity.

Alternate dateIn the event that this trial is postponed due to inclement weather, the trial will be held TBC.  All other arrangements will remain the same.
State ChampionshipThe QRSS 10-12yrs Touch State Championship will be held in Roma, 14 - 17 August 2025.

District officials to meet at 7:50am
Catering​A limited canteen will operate at the venue. It is recommended that students bring own food and drinks.

EquipmentEach team to provide a match ball and own warm up equipment.
Students to provide their own playing gear eg boots, water bottle etc.
No sharing of equipment.
ShadeSome shade is available.  Teams are encouraged to bring extra shade shelter if required.
CompetitorsEach team is invited to nominate 14 players.
CostNIL
UmpiresAssociation referees will be used to referee games where available.  Team officials may be required to referee a game when their own team is not playing.

This involves the commitment of all selected players for the duration of the State Championship.  Please note that “Possibles vs Probables” games MAY be conducted in all divisions this year. The Convenor shall be responsible for the allocation of selectors and the conduct of all selections. The Regional Coach shall chair all deliberations.

Student Officials
Queensland Representative School Sport actively promotes the development of students becoming sport officials through the Queensland Representative School Sport student officials’ program.
Students who wish to nominate to officiate at the State Championship are encouraged to register their interest via the QRSS website.  

State championshipsThe QRSS 13-15yrs & 16-18yrs Touch State Championship will be held in Redlands Touch, 12 - 15 June 2025.
