·           13 – 17 Yrs
·           Students Born in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 & 2005 are only eligible to attend this trial.
·          Please also note that only one Girls Team (13 – 17) and one Boys Team (13 – 17) will be selected from this trial to compete at the State Championships in 2018.

Trials commence at:
10.30am – 12.00pm for Boys and 12.00pm – 2.00pm for Girls.  Please arrive 30 Minutes before trial.
 
Venue:
Musgrave Park Pool
100 Edmonstone St, Sth Brisbane

Officials Meeting:
A meeting of team officials will be held at Musgrave Park Pool prior to the trial.
 
Catering:
No catering will be provided. Students are encouraged to bring their own food.
 
Equipment:
All playing equipment will be supplied.
Students will need to supply personal equipment (Togs, mouthguards, etc)
 
Shade:
There is adequate shade available at the pool.
 
Competitors:
Each District is invited to nominate individual players.(As per attached District Nomination Form)
 
Cost: Cost per student is $20.00 to cover venue costs, equipment etc.
 
Students must pay the Trial Levy to the Regional Convenor on the day of the trials.
 
Umpires:
District / School Officials will be required to assist in umpiring.
 
Selection
Procedures:
As per MESSB Policy, one teacher from each district may be nominated as a member of the Selection Panel. Selections will be final and no further play-offs will be held.
 
Competition
Rules:
Game time - start and finish on bell
Convenor will advise format at the trial.
 
First
Aid:
A First Aid Kit will be at the venue.
 
Risk
Management:
Note: A Curriculum Activity Risk Assessment has been completed for this activity.
 
Alternate Date:
 
In the event that this trial is postponed due to inclement weather, the trial will be held on ../../2017. (TBC) All other arrangements will remain the same.
