Football Regional Trial Information

 

Boys 17-19 years & Girls 16-19 years Football

​Trials Commence at ​9.00am
​Venue ​Redland United Football Club, Cleveland
​Catering A canteen will operate at the trial​
​Equipment​​ Each team is required to supply their own kits and playing balls
​Shade There is some shade provided at the venue however teams should endeavour to provide their own where possible.
​Cost Cost per student is $20.00 to cover venue costs, sports medicine, equipment etc.
​Umpires Association referees will be used for each game.  However, team officials or students may be called upon to assist in linesman duties when their own team is not playing.
​Trial Round robin format. Each district to play each other at least once. Possible vs Probable’s game at the end of the days play if required. 
​Selection Procedures As per MESSB Policy, one teacher from each district may be nominated as a member of the Selection Panel. Selections will be final and no further play-offs will be held.
​Competition Rules Rules: Games to be adjudicated in accordance with FFA rules and regulations. 

Point scoring: Points: Win-3, Scored draw-2, Scoreless draw-1, Loss-0

Game time: 20 minute halves | 5 minute half time

Tied scores: If points are equal, places will be determined by goal difference, then goals for, then goals against.
​First Aid Sports Medicine personnel will be available from the duration of the trial.
​Risk Management Note: A Curriculum Activity Risk Assessment has been completed for this activity
​Alternate Date In the event that this trial is postponed due to inclement weather, the trial will be held on 14/03/2019. All other arrangements will remain the same.

Boys 13-16 & Girls 13-15 years Football

​Competitors ​Each District is invited to nominate one team of 16 players.
