​Trials Commence at ​1.00pm
​Venue ​Morningside AFC
​Officials Meeting ​A meeting of team officials will be held at Morningside AFC at 12.30pm
​Catering ​Bring own food as there are no facilities near the field.
​Equipment​​ ​All playing equipment will be supplied. Students will need to bring football boots and mouth guard.

As per the CARA guidelines, the wearing of mouthguards is compulsory.
​Shade ​There is adequate shade available at the field.
​Competitors ​These trials are by individual nomination only.

Students who wish to trial are invited to complete the individual nomination form and schools are to forward it along with all other forms, directly to the Convenor to reach her no later than MONDAY 4 MARCH 2019.

Students will not be permitted to participate at this trial without having completed all forms. No girl will be permitted to trial unless ALL forms are received by the convenor PRIOR TO OR ON THE DAY of the trials.

​District Nomination Form These trials are by individual nomination only.​
​Cost ​Cost per student is $20.00 to cover venue costs, equipment etc.

Students must pay the $20.00 Trial Levy to their School.

Money will not be accepted on the day of the trial.

Metropolitan East will invoice individual schools for the levy.
​Umpires ​Where possible, Association Umpires will be used.  However, team officials may be called upon to assist if needed.
​Trial ​The Trial will include skills and match play​.

​Selection Procedures ​As per MESSB Policy, one teacher from each district may be nominated as a member of the Selection Panel. Selections will be final and no further play-offs will be held.
​First Aid Sports Medicine personnel will be available from the duration of the trial.
​Risk Management Note: A Curriculum Activity Risk Assessment has been completed for this activity.​ 
​Alternate Date ​In the event that this trial is postponed due to inclement weather, the trial will be held on 15/03/2019. All other arrangements will remain the same.

​Catering A canteen may operate at the trial, but please bring own food as there may be restricted hours of opening.
​Equipment​​

​Each team is required to supply one set of jerseys, water bottles, footballs to warm-up.

STUDENTS MUST PROVIDE AND USE THEIR OWN MOUTHGUARD. This is a CARA requirement.

​Shade There is adequate shade available at the field.
​Competitors Each District is invited to nominate one team of 23 players
​Cost

​Cost per student is $20.00 to cover venue costs, equipment etc.

Note that on the day, District Officials will be required to confirm the number of students representing their District. Invoices will be based on this information.

The District Manager’s/Treasurer’s school will be invoiced for this amount. Money will not be accepted on the day.

​Umpires Student Officials will be rostered on for umpiring duties.
​Trial Competition Draw will consist of Round Robin matches then a Possibles v Probables game prior to final naming of team
