List of 2019 Officials

Important Information

Students enrolled in Year 7 in secondary schools and who reach the age of 12 years before Year 8, are eligible to represent Metropolitan East Region in any of the regional teams (both team sports and individual sports) that are available for students of that age from the primary sector.

Details of the sports available to these students are found on the 10 to 12 years sport page.

Athletes in a Multi Class Event (MC)

MCs, aged 13 to 19 years, are invited to compete for specific places in the cross country, swimming and track and field teams. MCs aged 10 to 12 years are always welcome to compete against able-bodied students for places in any regional team. Teams containing students with a disability are accompanied by managers with the appropriate skills.

To compete as an MC, a student must have a classification based on the athlete's disability. All information necessary to gain such a classification can be found on the Queensland School Sport's disabilities pages.

Representative program

Four districts are involved in sport at the 13-19 years level. These districts are Bayside, Composite, Logan and South Districts.

Bayside and Logan Districts are combined 10-12 years and 13-19 years districts. Composite and South Districts have programs for the 13-19 years students only.
