​Catering A canteen will operate at the trial.
​Equipment​​

  • ​Each team is required to supply warm up equipment
  • All playing equipment will be supplied.
  • Students will need to supply personal equipment

​Shade No shade is available or provided. Teams should bring shade if required.
​Cost Cost per student is $20.00 to cover venue costs, equipment etc.    ​
​Selection Procedures As per MESSB Policy, one teacher from each district may be nominated as a member of the Selection Panel. Selections will be final and no further play-offs will be held
​Competition Rules

​Game time - start and finish on referees call

No points – Selection Trial.

​First Aid ​All Team Managers are required to bring their own first aid kit.
Sports Medicine personnel will be available from the duration of the trial.
​Alternate Date In the event that this trial is postponed due to inclement weather, the trial will be held on 26/04/2019. All other arrangements will remain the same.

​Catering

Mt Gravatt AFC canteen will NOT operate on the day. Please bring own morning tea and lunch. 

​Equipment​​

Each team is required to supply a match ball

Students will need to supply personal equipment (football boots, mouth guard, sunscreen and protective headgear if required)

​Shade

There is adequate shade & shelter available at the field.

​Competitors

Each District is invited to nominate one team of 23 players. 

(As per attached District Nomination Form)

Teams struggling to field a team please inform the convenor as soon as possible. Other Districts may have shadow players available to fill teams.

​Cost

​Each District is required to pay a levy of $460- ($20 x 23 students) to cover costs of ground hire, equipment, first aid etc.

Note that on the day, District Officials will be required to confirm the number of students representing their District. Invoices will be based on this information.

The District Manager’s/Treasurer’s school will be invoiced for this amount. Money will not be accepted on the day.

​Umpires

Team officials may be called upon to umpire when their own team is not playing. AFLQ will have umpires on the day but assistance may be needed.

Competition Draw:  Round Robin

Followed by Possibles V Probables Game (if required)

A Curriculum Activity Risk Assessment has been completed for this activity
